Bizmarks # 5 – A very technical boy

Juve 1aJuve 1b

If they think you’re crude, go technical; if they think you’re technical, go crude. I’m a very technical boy. So I decided to get as crude as possible – William Gibson, “Johnny Mnemonic.”

And does it get any cruder than a revolver that is bigger than your head and as thick as your waist?

Here we are, the first completed new juve for the Van Saars, in a lighter blue suit and fashionable pink-hued white hair.

Led lights on the newly bought light box are screwing up the blends a little – blues look smoother to the eye, especially on the back side, but I’m still pleased with my progress in this technique… I may even consider submitting this in response to Azazel’s Technical August challenge, on account of the uncommon amount of hedge highlighting I did on the guns and the suit.

I think I managed to replicate the effect of the base, even if I had to make a new batch ofΒ  “concrete” especially for it.

More to go…

    • Cheers! Now I’ll have to find new bits for the other bases. I wanted to use the old Necromunda rats models, but they are way too big…

    • Cheers mate. It’s nice being able to take some old model and paint it in a recent style. These are somewhat influenced by Infinity.
